MILA MAR "Nova" (Gatefold 12" LP) is in the pressing plant! Our first production at Second Sight Releases will be the album "Nova" by the German ethno / world music band MILA MAR. Originally released in 1999 only on CD and re-released in 2017, we will capture these beautiful atmosphere on vinyl. Hypnotic ambient sounds, combined with the dreamlike vocals of Anke Hachfeld (whose voice includes four octaves), let the listener dive deep into an acoustic dream world. "Nova" is a musical window to an unbelievably beautiful world full of peace and love, it allows an intoxicating view into paradise. The vinyl version is limited to 500 pieces in gatefold cover. Even if the picture shows a black record, all LPs appear in coloured vinyl. We have not limited ourselves to a single color, each record looks different, all colours and even marbling are possible. Since a few years we have the feeling that we have to release some of the splendid music that exists outside the world of metal, too. Now, after running Animate Records for more than 15 years and the release of countless records and merchandise items, we decided to establish a sublabel called ANIMATE RECORDS – SECOND SIGHT RELEASES. On this label we want to release great records from other music genres that don´t fit to the metal label Animate Records.
